Numero Uno Italiano was established in 2002 by Giovanni Pillitteri who has been in the Catering business since his teenage years. Giovanni moved from Sicily to England when he was 15 years of age and began his career in catering. He has successfully owned an Italian Pizzeria for almost 20 years and in 2002 he decided that he wanted to share his knowledge and passion for food with others in the industry.

Numero Uno Italiano supplies a wide range of Italian and Sicilian food to other caterers, Giovanni's experience has meant that he knows what caterers want and need. All of Numero Uno's food derives from Italy or Sicily and is imported from that country or made on site. We sell food that is not widely available in the U.K's shops or supermarkets such as Sicilian sweets. Numero Uno also sells a range of savoury foods, the most notorious is our freshly prepared pizza dough-balls, as well as our delicious homemade pizza sauce and focaccia bread to name a few. Much time has been spent visiting Sicily to obtain the best quality food and ingredients. Numero Uno also now imports the famous Zi Caffe coffee and Italian lager.
